April 10, 2018 The new Preliminary Indicator Communication Toolkit for Science Assessments was recently released to help local educational agencies (LEAs) prepare for the release of the preliminary indicators for the California science assessments. Developed by the California Department of Education (CDE) in collaboration with Educational Testing Service, this collection of resources provides guidance on releasing student results for the California Science Test (CAST) and the California Alternate Assessment (CAA) for Science. The resources are now available on the CDE California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) System web page.
