CCSA Hosting Webinar on Legislation to Secure Equitable Funding for the Lowest Performing Subgroup

March 19, 2018 Join us on Thursday, March 22 from 11 am to noon to hear from incoming CCSA Board Chair Margaret Fortune about AB 2635, CCSA's sponsored legislation authored by Assemblymember Shirley Weber, Autumn Burke, and Mike Gipson. This legislation will provide additional funding and require greater accountability from K-12 public schools in support of the lowest performing subgroup of students in the state outside of students with special needs, which continues to be African American students.

AB 2635 will be heard by the Assembly Budget Subcommittee on Education Finance on April 10thand by the Assembly Education Committee on April 11.
