Learn how to apply for Prop. 51 Charter Facilities Bond Funds

  • Print

February 9, 2017 On November 8th, voters passed Prop. 51, which authorized $500 million in additional bond authority to the Charter School Facilities Program. This money can be used to build new buildings or renovate old buildings. The application window for new funding opened on February 6 and will remain open until applications are due by 5:00pm on June 5, 2017.

The funds are likely to be allocated quickly, so if you are considering applying for the program, we highly recommend starting immediately!

To help you with the application, you are invited to an in-person workshop being hosted next week by CCSA and Pacific Charter School Development (PCSD). Presenters will include experts from PCSD and Charter Facilities Consulting. The session will start with an informational panel, followed by time for question-and-answer as well as an opportunity to schedule follow-up conversations with the presenters.

The workshop will be held at CCSA's Oakland office (436 14th St Suite 310, Oakland, CA 94612) on Thursday, February 23rd, from 10am to 12pm. Lunch will be provided after the meeting, so please rsvp by clicking this link here.
