Invite Your Legislators to Visit Your Charter School!

The 2017-18 class of the California Legislature took their oath of office on December 5, 2016. Now is a great opportunity to reach out to your legislators and invite them to visit your school. One creative example of how to invite a legislator for a visit comes from SOAR Charter Academy. SOAR students created a video congratulating Assemblymember Eloise Reyes (D-San Bernardino) on her recent election and invited her to visit their school. You can look up who your legislator is with the Legislature's Find Your Rep tool.
