January 7, 2016 The CDE is accepting applications for the Director of Special Education Division. Applications must be received by February 1, 2016.

The Director of the Special Education Division at CDE provides the vision, leadership, and technical assistance to implement California's statewide strategy for special education. In addition to numerous other duties, the Director provides leadership and guidance to all LEAs in California with regard to special education programs and promotes the educational reform agendas of the State Board of Education and the State Superintendent of Instruction.
