CCSA Conference: We've Got Teachers Covered in 2015 and One Will Win 25 iPads!

February 6, 2015 CCSA's Annual Conference held March 16-19, 2015 at the Sacramento Convention Center will provide opportunities for learning, sharing and networking for teachers with multiple types of programming and events. In 2015, CCSA is proud to host over 60 breakout and poster sessions designed specifically for charter school teachers on everything from student engagement to common core to blended learning. Below is a suggested schedule for teachers to follow to ensure they get the event off on the right foot!

The Increasing Student Achievement Strand has been specifically designed for teachers. However, there are sessions across all the strands that are relevant to a teacher audience.

Monday, March 16

Teachers' Meet & Greet: 4:00 pm- 5:00 pm, Room 310, SCC. This is a great opportunity to meet teachers from other charter schools across the state--enjoy a glass of wine, some light snacks and meet your classroom colleagues before the conference even begins.

Welcome Reception: 5:00 pm-7:00 pm, East Lobby, SCC.

Tuesday, March 17

Opening Plenary Session: 8:00 am-9:30 am, Memorial Auditorium.

Teacher Expo: 9:45 am-10:45 am, Exhibit Hall, SCC.

Teacher Opening Session: 11:00 am-12:00 pm, Ballroom, Sheraton Grand Sacramento.

Leaders at Our Schools, In Our Communities, In Our Movement: Teachers are the heart of the charter movement. Attend this session to explore how teachers across the state are pushing the boundaries of what it means to be leaders at our schools, in our communities, and in the charter school movement. Hosted by the 2015 Hart Vision Teacher of the Year and sponsored by Activate Education--a FREE resource for teachers--this session explores teacher leadership and highlights new additions to this year's conference. All teacher attendees of the Teacher Opening Session will be eligible to win a set of 25 free iPads for their classroom!
