Don't Forget This Crucial Step in Preparing for Online Testing!

October 9, 2014 If you haven't already done so, please designate a test coordinator for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) by choosing from among the employees of your local educational agency (LEA) as soon as possible (California Code of Regulations, Title 5, Section 857[a]). The original deadline was September 30, 2014.

The form for designating the 2014-15 LEA CAASPP Coordinator is available on the CAASPP Test Administration Forms web page http://caaspp.org/administration/forms/designation/.

Please note that Educational Testing Service (ETS) must receive BOTH the signed designation form from the LEA superintendent AND a signed test security agreement from the LEA CAASPP Coordinator to be able to grant the LEA CAASPP Coordinator access to the Test Operations Management System (TOMS), the new online system that coordinators will use to manage all aspects of CAASPP testing.

The LEA CAASPP Coordinator e-mail address provided in the designation form will be used for all communications related to CAASPP by both ETS and the California Department of Education. Therefore, if an e-mail address changes, please immediately contact ETS. Submit a new designation form any time there is a change in coordinator contact information.

If you have any questions, please contact the ETS California Technical Assistance Center (CalTAC) by e-mail caltac@ets.org or phone 800-955-2954.
