Clean Energy Act (Prop. 39): Resources

August 1, 2013 Proposition 39 is the California Clean Energy Jobs Act, a state program that provides funding to local educational agencies for improving energy efficiency and creating clean energy jobs.

The California Energy Commission (Commission) is leading the effort to implement Proposition 39, working closely with input from sister agencies:

  • California Department of Education
  • California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office
  • California Department of Finance
  • California Public Utilities Commission
  • California Workforce Investment Board
  • California Conservation Corps
