Final Winter Business Managers Meetings
Questions on the January budget proposal and how the state's financial situation will impact your school? Look no further than CCSA's Business Managers meetings! We will cover the current funding rates, updates on proposed changes, information on state and federal categorical programs - plus legislative and regulatory updates.
Alice Miller, Director of Knowledge Management, will dispense up-to-the-minute information. Aligned with the state budget timeline, the Business Managers' meetings focus on budgetary and financial information schools need to know and on legislative updates with a fiscal impact. These are being held in addition to the Regional Charter Leaders' meeting in your area which focuses on local advocacy issues.

These four online Governance and Finance trainings will assist charter schools in meeting the Public Charter Schools Grant Program governance and fiscal management training requirements and will cover topics such as:
- Developing legally compliant governing board policies and procedures
- Establishing clear board roles and responsibilities
- Financial oversight and student performance
- Key areas of expertise required for high functioning boards
- Conducting Brown Act compliant meetings
- Maximizing and protecting PCSGP funding via: Access, Allocation, Budgeting, and Planning
