December 7, 2012 Want to "Find a School?" Frustrated by the clunky old map? We are excited to announce that the new CCSA charter schools map is here!

Some exciting new features:

  • Improved Google interface provides more detail, satellite view options, customized "multiple schools at one location" pin, plus directions! (from school profile pages)
  • New "School profile" pages include more useful information such as grades, curriculum, directions to the school, link to great schools and the school website, (here is an example)
  • School pages appear in CCSA site search so now you have more ways to find information about a school.

There are two places to find the map and start searching. Use this direct link: www.ccsa.org/schools, or click the "Find a School" button towards the top of www.ccsa.org.

Ways to search

  • Search by a school: Type any part of the school name
  • Search by location: The map will center on that city, county or ZIP Code. Note: The map first tries to find results by school name. So if you search "Fresno" you'll see only schools with Fresno in the name. To see all schools in that area, try "Fresno County, CA" or "Fresno, CA".
  • Refine your search: Click Advanced Search in the black bar, then select grade(s) or curriculum option(s) to filter more.
