October 17, 2012 Warren Fletcher, President of UTLA, will join a free Education Salon put on by the Los Angeles Education Partnership (LAEP) to discuss this complex question.

When: Monday October 29, 2012 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM PDT
Where: LAEP
1055 W. Seventh St, Suite 200
Los Angeles, CA 90017

In the face of the Chicago teacher strike, teacher evaluations, and Proposition 32 on the California November ballot there are many perspectives about unions, teacher-led reform, and the ultimate impact both have on student success.

Seats are filling fast, but there is still some room to join LAEP on Monday, October 29 for an Education Salon about this controversial topic.

You will enjoy light refreshments and a panel discussion with:

  • David Abel, President, Abel & Associates
  • Jordan Henry, co-founder, NewTLA
  • Warren Fletcher, President, UTLA
  • Rod Hamilton (moderator), Board Chair, LAEP

The panel will be followed by table discussions where everyone will have a chance to share their thoughts.

Free Event - Parking: $5.00
