Application for Appointments to Serve on the Advisory Commission on Charter Schools

October 13, 2012 The SBE is currently seeking applications for two appointments to serve on the Advisory Commission on Charter Schools (ACCS). Under guidance, criteria, and direction provided by the SBE, the ACCS reviews and advises the SBE on charter-related items, including but not limited to nonclassroom-based funding determinations, and other assignments as requested, which may include review of charter appeals of renewal denials, due diligence on the development and oversight of California's federal public charter schools grant requirements, and others. All applications and corresponding materials must be received in the SBE Office by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22, 2012, in order to be considered for appointment.
