September 24, 2012 Did you know that it has been 20 whole years since the enactment of the Charter Schools Act in California?

You are receiving this invite because you have contributed to the success of the charter schools movement in Oakland and the San Francisco Bay Area.

Please join us, on Saturday, October 13 at beautiful Preservation Park to commemorate this great milestone and to celebrate the significant impact charters have made to public education in Oakland.

Will your school participate?

With a brief program in the morning featuring community leaders and outstanding students, every confirmed school will have the opportunity to have a FREE booth in our Charter School Expo from 10 a.m. - noon. This will be an opportunity for schools to share information about their impact, history, and yes - enrollment & admissions!

  • Do you have a rock star parent who can attest to the impact of Oakland charter schools?
  • Do you have current students or alumni who have a unique charter story that should be shared with the world??
  • Or a teacher with an incredible perspective to share?
