Oakland Regional Meeting reminder

The Fall Oakland Regional Meeting date has been set for Monday, October 1, 2012. We will meet at ARC Associates in downtown Oakland. Please register today for our first meeting of the year. We look forward to seeing everyone!

20th Anniversary Oakland Celebration Rally

We have date and location details to share for this important event:
When: Saturday, October 13 (9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.)
Where: Preservation Park / Oakland, CA
Why: Celebrating the Success and Diversity of Charter Schools in Oakland

We will be reaching out to schools over the next few weeks, and are currently forming a planning committee for this important event. Please email if you are interested in supporting the event. Charter students make up close to 25% of the public school population in Oakland. It's time to celebrate our accomplishments and come together to connect our school communities. Learn more about the 20th Anniversary.

Proposition 39

We will be reaching out to Oakland charter school leaders to discuss the importance of submitting Prop. 39 facilities applications to the district. We are also prepared to offer pro bono legal review support. The goal is to ensure that all Prop. 39 offers are "high quality" -- based on geography, classrooms, non-classroom space requested, and cost.

We look forward to supporting your schools during this important process. You can find additional Prop. 39 resources on the website.
