CCSA Celebrates National Charter Schools Week!

  • Print

May 6, 2012 This year, National Charter Schools Week is focusing on the 20th anniversary of the charter school movement across the nation. To celebrate the positive impact of charter schools in California, CCSA has put together a series of daily blogs that will run each day of the week.

Visit every day, and find profiles of some of our schools. We have a Q & A with former Assemblymember Ted Lempert, who authored the charter school expansion bill in 1998, and check out the touching story of a Chula Vista area charter student, who at 11 years old, is already a published author and a strong advocate for the environment.

Follow us on Twitter and Facebook as well to read charter school fun facts, and share your ideas with us. We'd love to hear from you:
