Feb. 27: Hands-on Tech Plan Writing and E-Rate Practice Workshop

  • Print

February 10, 2012 Want some of the $2.27 BILLION E-Rate funding available annually to help your school's technology program? Baffled about technology planning? Just opening?

The workshop will take place Monday, Feb 27, from 2 - 5 p.m. at the Sacramento Convention Center, Room 309 and will be lead by Mark L. Miller, Ph. D. and Eileen Miller from the Miller Institute for Learning with Technology.

At this workshop, we help you to actually create a draft tech plan during this three-hour, hands-on tutorial. Create a practice E-Rate application online. Presenters will explain how tech plans relate to E-Rate and coach participants through the entire process. Questions about technology, eligibility, discounts, how long it takes and more are welcome. Discuss plans with colleagues and be ready for the next funding cycle.

We recommend you bring your own laptop for this session. If you can't bring a laptop, the team can provide one. This workshop is free to anyone registered for the conference (you must be registered to attend).
