Feb. 27: FREE In-Depth PCSGP Workshop for Developers and First-year Schools

February 10, 2012 Are you thinking about applying for the Public Charter Schools Grant Program (PCSGP)? Don't miss this unique chance to get all the information you need, including Q & A with staff from the California Department of Education (CDE) and a presentation from Middleton, Young and Minney on key legal issues. RSVP now for this day-long workshop!

This in-person workshop will take place at the Sacramento Convention Center and is conveniently scheduled right before the California Charter Schools Conference. It is free to all CCSA members, not just conference attendees and is part of a series of trainings that CCSA offers for potential PCSGP applicants.

The workshop will be held on Monday, Feb. 27, from 10 am to 5 pm and will cover:

  • Panel discussion and Q & A on PCSGP-related legal issues from Middleton, Young and Minney
  • Teacher, evaluation, professional development, recruitment and retention
  • Guidance from successful applicants
  • Financial management
  • CDE staff presentation with a specific focus on work plan requirements and budget development
