If you would like to learn more about your responsibilities and options for special education, join us for "Special Education 101: Understanding Your Rights, Responsibilities and Options when Serving Students with Special Needs."

In this workshop, participants will learn about key concepts under state and federal special education laws, explore charter school options for special education, and receive tips and resources on providing quality and compliant services to students with special needs.

If you are starting a new charter school or renewing your charter petition, join us for "Charter Petition & MOU: Special Education Sections."

This workshop begins with an introduction to key concepts related to special education in charter schools, and provides step-by-step assistance, including tips, resources, and sample language, for developing the special education section of your charter school petition and MOU for special education.

If you would like to learn more about your special education options or are considering LEA status for special education, join us for "Special Education 201: Understanding and Exercising Your Options for Special Education."

This workshop will explore the special education options available to charter schools across the state, assist schools in identifying the options most suitable for their program, and guide schools through the process of seeking status as a Local Educational Agency (LEA) for special education.
