State Appellate Court Deals a Win for the Liberty Family Academy

January 13, 2012 In a brief and unpublished decision issued Thursday, the 6th District Court of Appeal reversed the trial court's ruling, allowing the nonprofit corporation operating the school to challenge the district in court to recover funds withheld after the school's revocation. The trial court is directed to consider the merits of the nonprofit corporation's claims against the district. CCSA filed a brief as amicus curiae in this case and has been monitoring the case since the appeal was filed over two years ago. We will keep you apprised of any further developments in the case.
