Share Your Story on the Teacher Wall

September 6, 2011 Scholastic, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and DonorsChoose.org are building the world's first Teacher Wall - a place where teachers from across the country can meet to celebrate their successes, share their stories and talk about education. Constantly evolving, the Wall will be an exciting space where teachers connect and share their thoughts with each other and with the world.

The groups are on a mission to collect video clips from 1,000 teachers before the Teacher Wall goes live to the public on September 25, 2011. If you are a classroom educator with a webcam or portable video camera, you can help them reach their goal.

Simply record your video responses to one or more of four questions. Once you do, you will be able upload them directly to the Teacher Wall database. A few minutes of your time will provide valuable insight about the teaching profession and what changes teachers believe are critical to improving public schools. Once the site is live, you will receive a link to your own video, so you can begin inviting your friends to join you on the Wall.
