Educators at High-performing Schools Eligible for Rewards

  • Print

September 15, 2011 EPIC is inviting new charter schools to join their national network, which provides cash incentives for the great work educators are doing with children. In 2006, New Leaders for New Schools launched the Effective Practice Incentive Community (EPIC) to reward educators in schools making significant student achievement gains for sharing their effective practices so that other educators could learn from their success.

To be eligible, your school needs to have three years of state test score data. Eligible teachers in award winning schools receive $3,000 - $4,000 each. The early submission deadline to participate is Sept. 30, 2011. The final deadline is Oct. 31, 2011.

There is a stipend of $1,200 for stand-alone high schools and $800 for other schools that submit data by the early deadline just for submitting your application!
