August 23, 2011 Funds to establish Demonstration Centers for up to $250,000 to support currently funded and potential CaMSP applicants; funding also available for new partnerships to improve the academic achievement of students in mathematics and science with a focus on creating opportunities for enhanced and ongoing professional development for mathematics teachers (grade three through Algebra 1) and science teachers (grades three through eight)

Deadline: Applications due September 15, 2011
Eligibility: Local educational agencies, including charter schools, serving a population of which at least 40 percent are free and reduced lunch eligible
Award: Up to $1,000,000
