The new school year is upon us! As everyone settles back in, we're still in a reflective mood and recounting all of the amazing things we accomplished together and the stories we shared with you all on our social media channels last year. Here's a look back at our top performing posts last school year:

  1. From Facebook: "GREAT NEWS: Jim Beall's #SB1362 is dead! What an incredible victory for the charter public school community in CA! Under this bill, quality charter public schools would have been wrongly blamed for a district's financial burdens and potentially forced to permanently close. A special thanks to the Charter Community of Silicon Valley, which serves as the voice for over 30K charter school students in Santa Clara, and helped lead the grassroots effort to defeat #SB1362!"

  2. From Twitter: "What an inspiring and motivating rally! Thank you to the students and parents who traveled to San Diego to increase awareness at the #CADem2018 Convention about your shared progressive values, and how charter public schools are providing ALL kids with a great education!"

  3. From Instagram: "Charter schools are public schools that put students first. Learn more by clicking the link in our bio!

This year, we want your collective voice to be an even stronger presence on our social media channels.

For that to happen, we need two things:

First, if you're not already, please follow us on social media by clicking the buttons at the bottom of our website! Second, throughout the year, please share with us positive stories about students, parents, teachers and leaders from your school community by using the hashtag #OurSchool.

Thank you for all of your hard work and dedication. We are looking forward to partnering with you for another exciting school year!
