The 25th Annual California Charter Schools Conference is taking place March 26 to 28, 2018 in San Diego and will feature a myriad of programming. CCSA wants to remind all attendees that the schedule for the event is different this year. The conference features the same amount of programming in past years, but it is now spread more efficiently across three days (Monday through Wednesday) rather than four days. This allows our schools to save money on hotel stays, now only needing to book two nights rather than three.

The event is starting this year on Monday, March 26 at 1:30 p.m. with the opening plenary session, featuring keynote speaker, Geoffrey Canada.

The Monday schedule is packed full of programming. After the opening plenary session, there will be breakout sessions from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. and regional meetings from 4:15 - 5:30 p.m. Later in the evening, CCSA will host the Welcome Reception from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. and the CCSA Advocates Kickoff Party will follow at 6:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, March 27 the schedule is similar to past years. The one big change on Tuesday is the addition of CCSA's 25th Anniversary Plenary Session and Reception, which will be held from 4:45 - 7:00 pm. On Wednesday, the big change is that the plenary session is now in the afternoon from 2:45 - 4:00 p.m. where we will hear from our closing keynote, Paul Tough.
