Nationally Known Author, Children's Advocate and Founder of Harlem Children's Zone (HCZ) Monday, March 26, 1:30 - 2:45 p.m.
Mr. Canada's keynote will address helping at risk youth beat the odds and advocacy. In his 20 plus years with HCZ, Geoffrey Canada has become nationally recognized for his pioneering work helping children and families in Harlem and as a passionate advocate for education reform. Most recently, Canada can be seen prominently featured in the Davis Guggenheim documentary Waiting for "Superman."

CCSA Advocates Conference Kickoff & Fundraiser
Monday, March 26, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
San Diego Convention Center, 3rd Floor Terrace
After the Welcome Reception, head upstairs to the 3rd Floor Terrace for the CCSA Advocates Conference Kickoff & Fundraiser. Join us for this fun annual event to keep the momentum going. Register and donate here. The donation levels for this political fundraiser range from $20 to $200.

25th Anniversary Celebration Reception & Plenary - Making a Difference: Charters Past, Present and Future
Tuesday, March 27, 4:45 - 7:00 p.m.
This year CCSA will have a special evening plenary session to celebrate past accomplishments and to look ahead at what the next 25 years may hold. Join us for a celebratory reception before we listen to a panel highlighting the difference-making power of charter schools. This panel will be comprised of several dynamic women charter leaders who represent various school types with students from diverse racial, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Closing Plenary Keynote Speaker Paul Tough
Bestselling Author of How Children Succeed and Helping Children Succeed Wednesday, March 28, 2:45 - 4:00 p.m.
