Over the past year, we've had a chance to talk with a number of people who have founded charter schools. They all told us, "It's not easy!" However, they also all said that despite the challenge, it was absolutely worth it. What advice do you have for someone who is thinking about starting a charter school? Post it below!

Sascha Robinett, co-founder of PUC Milagro, Los Angeles

"At a charter school, you're allowed to be an innovator and that makes all the difference for your kids."

Shawna Draxton of WISH Charter School in west Los Angeles

"Just do it - make it happen!"

Hrag Hamalian, founder of Valor Academy in Arleta

"There's a lot that goes into starting a charter school."
