California Statewide Facilities Report
Facilities solutions are one of CCSA's biggest priorities this year. This new report offers insight into the facilities issues charter schools face throughout the state of California and synthesizes comprehensive data collected and analyzed in 2014 from schools across the state.
An Analysis of the Charter School Facility Landscape in California
California charter schools span the state from Southern California and Greater Los Angeles to the Bay Area and the North Coast. As the California charter school sector continues to grow, so does the need for reliable data on charter school facilities. This data will help stakeholders better understand the schools' struggles to find suitable facilities, identify policy solutions, and improve research efforts on the issue statewide.

With half a million students in charter schools--more than any other state--California offers a microcosm for the rest of the country. The report should inform state and charter agencies seeking to amend policy and provide resources to charter schools and aid charter school leaders and stakeholders in restructuring systems to address the hurdles their schools may face.
