The John Morton Excellence in the Teaching of Economics Awards
Apply for funding up to $1,000 to recognize and honor inspirational K-12 teachers whose innovative teaching practices stimulate economic understanding in and out of the classroom, and to allow such teachers to share best practices with their teaching colleagues.
Deadline: June 29, 2018
Eligibility: Current K-12 teachers of any subject in public, private or parochial schools. Teachers can not be past recipients of this award, must have taught in the classroom for the '17-'18 school year, and be able to demonstrate how they integrate economics into their teaching.
Award Amount: $1,000 and travel, accommodations and conference registration to attend the 57th Annual Financial Literacy and Economic Education Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, October 5-6, 2018
