Save the Redwoods Education Grant
Funding to support projects that provide youth with engaging, firsthand experiences of redwood forests; connect youth who do not normally have the opportunity to visit a redwood forest through culturally relevant projects that reflect the changing demographics of California and the United States; and/or encourage classroom teachers to teach about redwoods as a topic and use the redwood forest as a laboratory to master state content standards through curriculum development or continuing education opportunities.
Deadline: December 1, 2017
Eligibility: Any non-profit organization including charter public schools
Award Amount: Up to $5,000
