Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching
Presidential recognition and funding for secondary school teachers who develop and implement a high quality math or science program informed by content knowledge and which enhances student learning.
Deadline: Nominations due April 1, 2015
Eligibility: Full-time secondary school teachers of math or science in a public or private school. Teachers should be US citizens or permanent residents with a minimum of five years of full-time K-12 teaching experience and need to have taught math or science prior to the 2014-2015 school year.
Award Amount: $10,000
