2015 Discovery Education 3M Young Scientist Challenge
Funding to reward students for their science acumen, demonstration of innovative thinking and communication skills. Students will create a one-to-two minute video identifying a solution to an everyday problem that directly impacts them, their families, their communities and/or the global population. The idea must be a new innovation or solution, and cannot simply be a behavioral change or a new use for an existing product.
Deadline: April 21, 2015
Eligibility: United States residents who are students enrolled in 5th through 8th grade at a public, private, parochial, or home school.
Award Amount: up to $25,000
Number of Awards: 10
