The Capitol Advocacy Leaders (CAL) network matches charter school leaders with legislators, serving as concierge liaisons to the charter school world.

This powerful network will advance the charter school movement in California by ensuring all legislators and are educated on charter school issues and by letting legislators know that their votes matter. The liaisons are charter school leaders who are motivated to highlight the charter school movement as an innovative way to serve the interests of students, and who are proven leaders not only at their schools but in their communities.

Laura Kerr, Senior Advisor, Constituent Advocacy, oversees all aspects of the CAL network. Laura works with each liaison, providing information on legislators, support on advocacy efforts, and updating liaisons on Sacramento happenings.
