A report examining the effective practices of charter schools in accommodating children with disabilities. Four categories key in impacting special education student performance are: a powerful school mission, strong support for teachers, strong support for students, and transferability to traditional public schools. Additionally, the practices in the study can be transferred to all schools serving special needs students.
